Bio
I am particularly interested in managerial judgment and internal interactions, with a focus on the behavioral consequences of accounting systems. My research lies in managerial accounting and examines how incentive and control systems shape managers’ and employees’ effort allocation and performance. I also study whistleblowing behavior, and I primarily use behavioral experimental methods.
I am from Ogun State, Nigeria. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fountain University, Osogbo, Nigeria, and my master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Huddersfield, UK. I am currently pursuing my PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University. Before academia, I worked as a high school teacher, accountant, and head of finance and control.
